Clayton Kershaw will start for the Dodgers tonight as Los Angeles tries to close out the NLDS at home.

The Dodgers lead the series 2-1 and will have to travel back to Atlanta for a Game 5 should they lose tonight.

Kershaw was electric in his first performance, striking out 12 in seven innings of one-run ball; however, he has never started on short rest before.

Ricky Nolasco, who came over in a mid-season trade, was previously set to start, but has struggled mightily in recent starts posting an ERA over 12 in his past three starts.

The Dodgers are coming off of an offensive display of power in Game 3, putting up 13 runs Sunday night to match a franchise postseason record for runs scored.

Freddy Garcia will start for Atlanta as the Braves hope to even the series and force a Game 5 that would be played Wednesday at Turner Field.
