Zac Posen's Spring 2014 collection is nothing short of fabulous. Posen always knows just how to make a girl feel feminine with his classic gowns and romantic touch, and this year was no different.

Posen showcased a plethora of red carpet-worthy dresses that, if nothing else, revealed important fashion pointers for this spring:

1. Ruche and Ruffles are in! Almost every Posen dress had shoulder and midline ruche, or large ruffles at the hem line.

2. You can never go wrong with Satin! Many of the dresses Posen showcased were satin pieces; the lightweight material fell beautifully and flattered models' figures..

3. Accessories make the look! All of the models rocked the runway with flower-laden hair and color-coordinated, Manolo Blahnik sandals. The combination of the two gave off an enviable fairy princess vibe (think Anna Paquin in the True Blood Fairy Realm).

4. Simple is good! Some of the most stunning dresses were those without extra embellishments.

In short, the Zac Posen show brought some sensitivity and elegance to New York Fashion Week with one of a kind dresses that surely won't be restricted to the runway for long!
