Biden Talks To Anti-War Democrats In Iowa
President Obama campaigned on an anti-war platform in Iowa in the 2008 presidential election, but the White House has left open the possibility of military action in Syria.
Iowa is not the only place where President Obama is finding it difficult to gain support from his party for an intervention: An Associated Press poll taken at the beginning of the month showed that only 34% of Democrats wanted Congress to support military involvement.
Joe Biden is considering running for the presidency in 2016, and will need to make a strong showing in Iowa to advance in the polls.
