Syria Disperses Weapons Supply

In an attempt to detract a possible U.S. bombing campaign, and circumvent surrendering its supply of chemical weapons as Russia has advocated, a covert Syrian military unit has allegedly been dispersing hoards of munitions and poison gas in about 50 sites across the country.
U.S. and Israeli intelligence representatives are still convinced that they have knowledge as to where most of Syrian President Bashar al Assad’s chemical weapons are being held – but not as much as they were earlier this year. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was present in Geneva Thursday for political dialog with Russia on halting the Syrian weapons program, according to Businessweek.
