Heartthrob Zac Efron is reportedly "healthy, happy and not drinking," according to sources.

The former child star went to rehab back in April. Although it was rumored that he got help for alcohol, TMZ reports it was for cocaine addiction. Apparently, while shooting Seth Rogen’s “Neighbors” movie early in the year, Efron’s problem was uncontrollable. In the movie, the “High School Musical” star plays the head of a fraternity.

Sources close to the website also report that the actor was also into Molly, the rave drug, and that there were $50,000 in reported damages at the MGM Grand in Vegas due to a wild party thrown by Efron. Unlike fellow child stars Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan, Efron always appeared to be on the straight and narrow. He was never known for being a big partier, or even an alcoholic.

The only scarcely related incident was when Efron and former co-star Corbin Bleu visited a strip club back in 2010. Many fans were shocked when he discussed the experience with Jimmy Kimmel. However, his then-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens approved of the shenanigans.

Efron recently appeared on at the Toronto Film Festival, where he debuted his movie Parkland which opens October 4. At the premiere, he told E! Online, “I’m good, real good.”

It appears that now the star is clean and focused on future endeavors such as the release of his upcoming comedies, “Are We Officially Dating?” and “Neighbors.”

TMZ said Efron’s rep declined to comment on the use of drugs.
