The Reem Acra runway show displayed a disco-inspired collection, with a concentration on the glamour and sophistication of evening dress.

Metallics and darker colors dominated this ready-to-wear Spring ‘14 collection, complete with intricate beading and sparkling sequence appliques.

The slinky dress designs incorporated allusions and halter-top styles – both expected to be favored spring trends.

Houndstooth and polka-dot prints were paired in flirty daytime looks that were sprinkled throughout the collection for a spark of surprising, yet casual pattern play.

After launching her bridal line in 1997 the Lebanese-born designer expanded her brand to include ready-to-wear and evening gown collections.
