The NFL season is already two games in, as teams slowly unfurl the squad they project to be in the 2013-14 campaign. It's also Tuesday, which makes it time to give out quick hits from every game, including Monday night's matchup.

-Thursday-

Patriots 13, Jets 10

The presence of Tom Brady doesn’t matter if nobody on his team can catch his passes. But give some credit to a vastly underrated Jets defense.

-Sunday-

Falcons 31, Rams 24

Sam Bradford could be the real deal. And fortunately for the Falcon defense, so is the Falcon offense.

Ravens 14, Browns 6

The Browns’ front seven is legit. It's too bad that Brandon Weeden has failed to impress after a promising preseason or else the Browns could be a playoff contender this year.

Bills 24, Panthers 23

The Panthers have to score more touchdowns in the red zone. And 4.5 sacks from Mario Williams? Give him credit for playing up to his large salary.

Bears 31, Vikings 30

A congratulations to receivers other than Brandon Marshall stepping up for the Bears. (New head coach) Marc Trestman is just what Chicago’s offense needed.

Packers 38, Redskins 20

Blowout. But Robert Griffin III is only eight months removed from an injury that normally takes around a year to heal. He will get better as the season goes on.

Dolphins 24, Colts 20

Biggest surprise: The Colts lost a close game. Andrew Luck has seven fourth quarter come-from-behind wins in just eighteen regular season games, but this was not one of them. The Dolphins’ defense is for real.

Chiefs 17, Cowboys 16

Dontari Poe is an absolute beast, and looks like the next Haloti Ngata. It's good to see such a physically gifted player who has clearly worked hard on his technique start to fill out his potential. The Cowboys, however, need to find a consistent running game, and fast.

Chargers 33, Eagles 30

The Chargers should be 2-0 right now. Phillip Rivers looks good, and the Chargers’ interior pass rush is Liuget (sorry, I had to). Eddie Royal is returning to his 91-catch-rookie-season form, too.

Texans 30, Titans 24

Credit Matt Schaub for leading fourth quarter comebacks two weeks in a row. Also, the Titans are better than we thought.

Saints 16, Bucs 14

Weird game. The Bucs' defense actually played well against the high-powered Saints offense. Too bad their quarterback didn’t.

Cardinals 25, Lions 21

The Lions better hope Reggie Bush can stay healthy. Nick Fairley, too. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are clearly headed in the right direction.

Broncos 41, Giants 23

The Broncos defense might be the most underrated unit in the league. And they’re still without Von Miller and Champ Bailey. On the other side, Eli Manning needs to stop turning it over or else the Giants will miss the playoffs for the second year in a row.

Raiders 19, Jaguars 9

Raiders: Intriguingly not terrible. Jaguars: NFL’s worst team. And they're playing at Seattle next week. Yikes.

-Sunday Night-

Seahawks 29, 49ers 3

Keep in mind that Seattle was without Chris Clemons, Bruce Irvin, Brandon Browner, Russell Okung (for most of the game) and Percy Harvin, all of whom should return within the next few weeks with the exception of Harvin. And even though Seattle’s passing offense struggled for most of the night, they still managed to beat an elite team by 26 points. Would you take any team over Seattle in Seattle?

-Monday Night-

Bengals 20, Steelers 10

Ugly game. And not just because these are two good defenses. There were many horribly inaccurate passes from Andy Dalton that sure don’t help his case as a franchise quarterback. Meanwhile, the Steelers continue to lack anything resembling a running game on offense. Pittsburgh defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau’s defensive play-calling on third down continues to be amazing to watch, but the personnel he has to work with is clearly aging and slowing down fast.
