Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi missed the House vote Saturday night that passed a bill that would fund the government through December but delay Obamacare for a year.

As Congress met for a rare weekend session that extended into Sunday, Pelosi was celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with her husband, which she said was a “long-scheduled” event.

Pelosi was not the only politician who took a day off during the debt ceiling debate this weekend: President Obama took to the golf course on Saturday, three days before the deadline to avoid a government shutdown.
