'Lobster Fest' Features Delicious Seafood Feast
Described as “the world’s largest lobster festival,” The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival was the Guinness World Record for the “Most Seafood Served at an Outdoor Event” in 2009. Of course, the event’s main attractions are the gargantuan lobsters that are flown in fresh from Maine and are cooked on the spot. These lobsters are shipped in daily during the festival so supplies don’t run out. Lobster meals only cost $20 and attendees can even upgrade their dinners to get the “2 on a Plate Special,” which doubles up on the lobster portions for only $34, or the “Giant Lobster Plate," featuring a monster lobsters (limited supply) for $89.99.
Besides the delicious seafood available, festival attendees can enjoy their dinners in a scenic, outdoor park setting along the L.A. waterfront, as well as enjoy shopping, street performances, entertainment and dancing. Featured music performers scheduled over the three-day event include Big Black Delta, Nightmare & The Cat, Echosmith, The English Beat, and many more.

Sept. 13: 5-11 p.m.
