Every Monday through Friday, we run down the must-know breaking entertainment stories from the day before. Today's shortlist:

Okay, we usually try to keep DH from becoming a celeb gossip column, but this is worth mentioning: Liam Hemsworth is probably/definitely moving on from Miley with Mexican singer/actress Eiza Gonzalez. (People)

"The Big Bang Theory" is super popular for sure, but is it popular enough to warrant a $1 million+ core cast salary? The show's leading stars certainly think so. (Vulture)

Amazon is getting into the TV game, and up first is "Alpha House," starring Amy Sedaris and featuring guest stars like Cynthia Nixon and Wanda Sykes. (The Hollywood Reporter)

ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." hasn't even premiered on TV yet, but Marvel's already looking to expand their small screen presence. Up next: a show centered on "Captain America's" Agent Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell. Go go Marvel! (Deadline)

On that note, ABC is also looking to reboot "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" in the same style as "Once Upon a Time" and its Alice in Wonderland spinoff. The new "Notre Dame" is to be titled "Esmeralda," and will take one season to tell Victor Hugo's much-beloved story through the eyes of its lady lead. (The A.V. Club)
