Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) travelers will soon have a new, delicious dining option that is sure to be a success: a permanent food truck.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Terminal 4 at LAX will soon house a complete food truck shell, fully equipped and ready to serve hungry travelers. Starting Nov. 1., local food trucks that rotate every year will operate the shell. Local chefs will have the chance to showcase their skills to a wide range of people, from Los Angeles natives to those visiting from halfway across the globe.

This might not come as a huge surprise to native Angelenos. Food trucks have been frequenting a parking lot next to the airport every Tuesday for over a year already. It has become a popular lunch spot with different food trucks rotating every week at the "Gateway To Go" food truck lot next to the Crowne Plaza. Similarly, Long Beach Airport has allowed food trucks to operate on its property since early this summer. Long Beach Airport travelers can enjoy varying cuisines every Tuesday in the airport’s cell phone parking lots.

The new permanent food truck at the airport has been creating some buzz on Twitter, with people tweeting about the new addition to Terminal 4. Here are five suggestions for food trucks that should take the first spot.

Five Food Trucks That Should Get The Spot

Buttermilk Truck

The Buttermilk Truck is all about comfort food. They serve breakfast all day; what could be more comfort than that? They’ve created a large following over the past few years here in L.A. The red velvet pancakes seem to be a favorite among customers. Other items featured on the Buttermilk Truck's menu include "Hawaiian Bread Breakfast Sliders" and "Fried Chicken with Housemade Cinnamon Waffles."

Gravy Train Poutinerie

Poutine is a French-Canadian dish basically consisting of french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. This is a staple menu item at Gravy Train Poutinerie, which also features side dishes like "Truffle Fries" and "Deep Fried Cheese Curds." If you haven’t tried poutine yet, you should do so ASAP. There is no way to go wrong with this truck, making it a strong contender for the spot in LAX.

No Jodas Kitchen

No Jodas Kitchen specializes in authentic Cuban cuisine. They have delicious sandwiches and fried plantains, among steak and chicken bowls and other tantalizing options.

Amazebowls

This new food truck is serving up the next new thing in Los Angeles: acai bowls. These delicious (and healthy) bowls of acai can be paired up with fruits such as bananas and strawberries. They make the perfect refreshing snack on the go ... perfect for travelers at LAX.

The Melt

Everyone loves grilled cheese and The Melt has perfected the all-American staple. The Melt has several options when it comes to grilled cheese: traditionalists can opt for "The Classic" sandwich, while the more adventurous can choose sandwiches like "The Mac Daddy," featuring mouthwatering mac 'n cheese stuffed between pieces of artisan white bread. You can even get a breakfast "Egg-in-a-Hole" sandwich, featuring aged Cheddar cheese on sourdough and a freshly cracked farm egg in the sandwich's center. For dessert, you can never go wrong with the one and only "Chocolate Marshmallow S'more Melt."
