L.A. Heat Wave Breaks Triple-Digits

Angelenos won't be able to hide from the blistering heat this weekend as the end-of-summer heat waves continue to ripple across Southern California. Even the beach cities are wilting. 

Public health officials issued an official heat alert as temperatures are expected to hit triple-digits across the Inland Empire, Southland and Orange County. Don't even talk about the Valley. 

The weather service warned L.A. County residents that the combination of high temperatures and humidity will also reach “critical levels." 

So how are you going to survive?

Here are some alternate, cheap ideas if every beach is packed tight, which they probably will be:
