Former Disney star Dylan Sprouse, who starred in "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," is back to work! Only it's not the job you might expect of someone who was named "Richest Teenage Twins in the World" along with his brother Cole in 2010. Dylan, who is now 21, is working as a restaurant host in New York City!

When fans discovered Dylan's new occupation, they were surprised. Why does someone with so much money need to work at a job that is so...normal? Rumors spread all over social media that Dylan had taken this job because he was out of money and needed a new way to support himself financially. They later found out from his Tumblr that this was entirely untrue:

Sprouse wrote, "I did not take this job because I 'lost all my money,' I am financially secure, and took this job as a way to primarily feed my over bountiful video game addiction. I also took this as a way to try a new experience, working somewhat below the means I’m used to, as well as a way to socialize and get out of the house. I feel most comfortable when I’m working and doing something, to criticize someone of that is pretty odd. I will potentially return to acting someday, but in no way do I think any experience is a step down for me, but rather a new step in another direction."

So Dylan Sprouse is just trying to be a normal, social, and hard-working young man! How can anyone criticize that? A huge pressure that comes with being a former child star is their attempt at being perceived as a normal human being after their Disney or Nickelodeon days are over. Dylan seems to be avoiding that "pressure" by living his life in an average and responsible way: He is going to college and waiting tables.

While many child stars like Amanda Bynes, Lindsey Lohan, and Miley Cyrus seem to have gone off the deep end, the Sprouse twins seem to be doing very well. Dylan and Cole, who starred in the "Suite Life" series from 2005 to 2011, made a practical decision to leave the Disney Channel to attend New York University in 2011. Dylan is on the NYU Dean's list majoring in Video Game Design (which would explain his so-called "addiction") and Cole has been focusing on Archaeology; he even spent some time in Europe on Archeological digs! Both twins are active on social media as well - Cole even has an Instagram called "camera_duels"  that is primarily for taking pictures of fans that try to get a snapshot of him!

The twins have clearly immersed themselves in the college life, and while their fans hope that they someday return to acting, right now the famous young-adults seem to be looking for a more normal lifestyle as students. They look like they have a great future ahead of them, even if they decide to never act again. Fans should leave them alone and allow them to make responsible decisions about whatever fields they choose.
