Every Monday through Friday, we break down the must-know entertainment stories from the week before. Today's shortlist:

Rising pop chanteuse Ariana Grande and the ever-musical Jimmy Fallon teamed up to cover rap tunes (in Broadway style, natch) like Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's "Thrift Shop" and Jay-Z's "99 Problems." The bigger surprise? It doesn't sound half bad. (What's more unexplainable: Fallon's wig.) (Vulture)

Picard, err, Professor X, err, Sir Patrick Stewart married his girlfriend of five years, Sunny Ozell, over the weekend. This is Stewart's third marriage, but perhaps the other two didn't work out because he didn't have none other than Sir Ian McKellen officiating the marriage. (Us Weekly)

From "Sex and the City" to something just a little bit darker: Cynthia Nixon's joining the cast of NBC's "Hannibal," and while fans certainly will welcome her addition, the show's characters definitely won't. (TV Line)

The first "World War Z" didn't crash and burn, thanks to a little script saving and an overhauled ending (though it did have nothing to do with the original book), but do we really want another go at the zombocalypse? Brad Pitt thinks so. (EW)

The first new track from Arcade Fire's upcoming "Reflektor" leaked over the weekend, but the band's released a cool interactive video for the track (see here; see a trailer for it below). (Stereogum)
