Brazilian Hackers Attack NSA, Hit NASA Website Instead

A Brazilian hacker group called "BMPoc", in an attempt to protest the NSA's spying of Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff decided to target websites linked to the NSA last week – but accidentally targeted NASA instead, Gizmodo Brazil reported.
The hacker group vandalized 14 NASA domains in total including kepler.arc.nasa.gov, and left a message that included “NASA HACKED! BY #BMPoCWe! Stop spying on us!". The message also called on the US to not attack Syria, stating "We do not want war, we want peace!!"
A NASA spokesman confirmed that a Brazilian hacker group last week posted a political message on a number of Nasa websites.
NASA spokesman Allard Beutel was quoted as saying – "Within hours of the initial posting, information technology staff at the Ames Research Center discovered the message and immediately started an investigation, which is ongoing. At no point were any of the agency’s primary websites, missions or classified systems compromised."
The NSA's spying on President Rousseff's emails was revealed by documents acquired by Edward Snowden, which led to Rousseff calling off her planned visit Washington next month.
