Although the Senate was able to start deliberating on the spending bill yesterday, and will vote Friday morning, they have decided to include Obamacare for when the debt ceiling is discussed.

Majority Leader Harry Reid hopes to have this matter resolved as soon as possible. If an agreement isn't reached before Tuesday, the government will shut down.

The House could ask for several changes to the spending bill, all of which will require more time.

Things will get more interesting after the Senate sends the continuing resolution back to the House. Boehner predicts Republicans will ask for some key concessions before making any commitments about keeping the government funded.
