Apple Dethrones Coca-Cola As Most Valuable Brand

A corporate identity and brand consulting firm, Interbrand, conducted an annual report that estimated the value of Apple at $98.3 billion. The recent gross is up 28% from last year’s report.
Interbrand assesses their rankings based on the company’s financial performance, its role influencing consumer choices, and how well the brand lets a company charge premium prices and deliver profits.
The top eight brand are ranked as follows: Apple, Google, Coca-Cola, IBM, Microsoft, GE, McDonald’s, and Samsung.
Jez Frampton, an Interbrand global chief executive, said that Apple’s number one spot was “just a matter of time."
Frampton continues, “What is it they say, ‘Long live the king’? This year, the King is Apple.”
