On Sept. 6-8, St. Sophia Cathedral will host the 15th Annual L.A. Greek Fest. More than 15,000 attended last year’s event and this year’s schedule of events and food and drink menu could inspire even greater numbers.

Ouzo lemonade, Greek street fries with tzatziki and paprika, and leg of lamb sandwiches on pita are just a sampling of the feast options. Cooking demos, dance workshops, and cathedral tours will offer a more intereactive aspect to the festival. If you're interested in getting a taste of Greek culture, the cathedral is just two miles from campus on 1324 S. Normandie Ave. at Pico Boulevard. Daily admission is $5. For more information, visit the L.A. Greek Fest website
