LA City Council Protests Russian Gay Laws

Los Angeles officials sent a message of protest to its sister city St. Petersburg and the rest of Russia today by flying a gay pride flag outside of City Hall. The protest was directed at recent anti-gay legislation. Los Angeles City Council members also unanimously approved a resolution in favor of offering asylum to Russian LGBT refugees.
