Twenty-six Palestinian men are in the process of being released from Israel's Ayalon Prison. The mens' early release was agreed upon by both Palestinians and Israelis as a condition for beginning a new round of peace talks, set to resume Wednesday.

The 26 men are part of a total of 104 Palestinian and Israeli Arab prisoners slated for early release. Most of the first 26 have already served at least 20 years.

A group called the Almagor Terror Victims Association petitioned the High Court of Israel to overrule the early release decision, but was rejected.
