A Bomb threat closed the Eiffel Tour Friday morning. 

According to the towers spokeswoman, “The tower is closed, and we don't know when it will be opened at the present time.”

The tower closed around 2 p.m. (5a.m. PST) for “security reasons,” but reopened two hours later.  

As Reuters reported, the tower is “regularly subject to bomb scares.” The Eiffel Tower was last evacuated on March 30, 2013, when an anonymous call announced a thread.
