Actor Alec Baldwin will get his own primetime show in the MSNBC lineup. The show will air at 10 p.m. EST on Fridays, according to The Daily Beast.
The current 10 p.m. show on MSNBC is hosted by Lawrence O'Donnell, but only Monday through Thursday, so the show will not replace any existing talk show.
The show will revolve around political issues.
Baldwin has already been with NBC for years, recently with "30 Rock" and frequently appears on "SNL." He has also hosted concerts for the network.
Baldwin is known for liberal views, reports Mediaite.
