Royal Baby Mentioned 2M Times On Twitter

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate's, baby boy was mentioned more than 2 million times on Twitter Monday, according to Twitter.

The most mentions was a little after 8:30 p.m., when the official Buckingham Palace announcement came, with around 25,300 tweets per minute, reports The Daily Beast.

Since Kate was admitted the hospital the hashtag #RoyalBaby was used more than 900,000 times. The hashtags #RoyalBabyBoy and #RoyalBabyWatch were also frequently used.
