In a press conference where he was flanked by Israeli Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and Palestinian Authority envoy Saeb Erekat, Kerry said that "the parties have agreed to remain engaged in sustained, continuous, and substantive negotiations on the core issues," the Wall Street Journal reported.

The talks will cover all "final status" issues: borders, the status of Palestinian refugees, governance of Jerusalem, and security issues.
