In the months following Christopher Dorner’s fatal rampage against the LAPD, Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck launched an investigation into Dorner’s allegations of wrongful termination, racism and corruption.

Beck had promised to release the report when it would be completed later this month.

But The Associated Press on Tuesday released information about the completed report weeks prior to Beck’s promised announcement.

The report confirmed what was suspected—Dorner’s firing was justified and his accusations of corruption were baseless.

The findings in the report were compiled by Connie Rice, a civil rights attorney, who went through hundreds of pages of background material in order to come to her conclusion.
