After speaking in San Jose Friday morning about what California has done to prepare for the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, President Obama arrived at Los Angeles International Airport for a Democratic National Committee (DNC) campaign stop in Santa Monica.

President Obama was greeted on the tarmac of LAX by outgoing Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. He appeared at the door of Air Force One at 10:59 a.m. He then came down the stairs, hugged the mayor, then the two proceeded to board Marine One for the short hop to Santa Monica.

The two Santa Monica fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee are being held at the home of Megan and Peter Chernin. Ticket prices for the two are from $10,000 to $32,400.
