A plane crash during an airshow in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday afternoon left the pilot and stunt wing walker dead. No spectators were injured and the show was cancelled for the rest of the day.

Spectators at the 39th Vectren Dayton Air Show reported seeing the plane turn upside down with the wing walker, identified by WHIO-TV as Jane Wicker, sitting on the wing.  The plane then tilted and slammed into the ground, causing an explosion.

The identity of the pilot has not yet been released.

Authorities at the Dayton International Airport and Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed the deaths of the stunt walker and pilot.

This is the second fatal crash at the Dayton air show in the last 6 years. A veteran stunt pilot was killed in 2007 when his biplane crashed.
