US Army Sexual Assault Prevention Leader Investigated For Sexual Assault, Running Prostitution Ring
Two unnamed Pentagon officials stated the sergeant is also being investigated for running a prostitution ring.
No charges have been filed.
The announcement came one week after Lt. Col. Jeffrey Krusinski, who had been in charge of the Air Force's Sexual Assault and Prevention Office, was charged with sexual battery.

The US Department of Defense Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) released its 2013 Strategic Plan on April 30. SAPRO found that roughly 26,000 service members experienced "unwanted sexual contact" in fiscal year 2012, up from roughly 19,300 in fiscal year 2010.
In a memo attached to the report, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel outlined steps designed to create "enduring culture change" in the US military's attitude toward sexual assault. Steps included "Enhancing Commander Accountability," "Improving Response and Victim Treatment," and "Ensuring Appropriate Command Climate."
