A rocket was fired at Israel from south Lebanon on Sunday night according to The Daily Star. The Daily Star is also reporting that the rocket was fired in the Burj al-Mulouk area which is near the town of Marjayoun.

While there are no current reports of damage or injuries, residents near the border of Lebanon in Metula reportedly heard a loud boom.

It's still unclear whether the rocket landed in Israel or in Lebanese territories, but Israel Defense Force troops were sent to the area to locate exactly where the rocket landed.

Additionally, the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon are carrying out a search in the Burj al-Mulouk area to try to figure out where the rocket was launched from.

The attack came hours after two rockets landed in Beirut, a Hezbollah district, was shelled by rockets which resulted in four injuries. There has not been a claim of responsibility for the attack however.
