Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories” is only just (formally) out, but the French duo are already planning on remixing the new album. The first song to get the Daft Punk (round two) treatment: “Get Lucky,” duh. (Idolator)

Paris Hilton has signed with Cash Money Records and she’ll be releasing an album (her second) maybe by the end of this summer. It’ll feature other Cash Money artists like Lil Wayne and should be your new back-to-school jam because it’s going to be GREAT and TOTALLY MIND BLOWING. (Showbiz 411)

FX has ordered a comedy pilot called “The Comedians” starring Billy Crystal as (surprise!) a comedian. (Vulture)

This is actually pretty cool: Eva Longoria graduated from Cal State (no note on which one) with a master’s degree in Chicano Studies. She left the Cannes Film Festival early to graduate. (Us Weekly)

Filed under “crazy for us normal pleibs but totally in character”: Ke$ha drank her own pee on TV (specifically, her reality show “Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life”). Filed under “understandable in thought but crazy in practice”: the Parents Television Council (ah, our ever-graceful moral guardians) called her out on the behavior, saying that it was terrible, the worst thing ever, mad nasty (my paraphrasing). Ah, celebrities and morality police. (The A.V. Club)
