When Coriah Welch was first placed in foster care, she was separated from her dad and young brothers.
The South L.A. high school senior kept calling the Department of Child and Family Services and her brothers’ lawyers until she was able to get her siblings under the same roof. Now, as she eyes graduation and picks a college, she’s worried about leaving her brothers behind.
