Zac Brown Band closed this years Stagecoach country music festival in Indio, California on Sunday evening. Playing to an attentive crowd of country music fans, the band gave a genuine and energetic performance which perfectly concluded the three day festival.

As the sun went down and the temperature dropped below triple-digits for the first time all day, Zac Brown Band took the stage, opening with their song "Keep Me In Mind."

Despite playing to a crowd of tens of thousands of fans, the band who had a commanding stage presence managed to make the performance feel intimate. With their hits "As She's Walking Away," "Uncaged," "Knee Deep," "No Hurry," and "Natural Disaster," it felt like they were playing to each individual audience member.

After establishing this connection with their audience they showed that they could do justice not only to their own songs but to the songs of other great artists who had influenced them. At this point they covered Dave Matthews Band's "Ants Marching."

Following that, they briefly, but beautifully, covered "Blowin' in the Wind" as an introduction to their song "The Wind," which led into a poignant country rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely."

Continuing with slower songs, the band returned to their own material with a tear-jerking performance of "Colder Weather" that had even lead singer Zac Brown tearing up.

They played well into the night, continuing with songs "It's Not Ok," "One Day," "Toes," and "Whiskey's Gone" before closing their official set with Van Morrison's "Into The Mystic."

Returning for their obligatory encore they treated the crowd to a cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" before returning once again to their own material with "Jump Right In," "Goodbye In Her Eyes" and finally, "Chicken Fried."

Other than the flashing lights and screen behind them on stage, the set itself was relatively simple, allowing the bands palpable talent and crowd-pleasing melodies to carry the show. As the concert, and thus the festival, came to an end, the audience left the Empire Polo Fields. Some were tired. Most were sunburned. And after Zac Brown Band, it's safe to say, all were satisfied.
