The man accused of stabbing 14 victims at a Texas college campus randomly selected his victims and said he had been planning the attack for some time, authorities said Wednesday.

Dylan Quick, who has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, allegedly stabbed his victims with a razor utility knife at Cypress' Lonestar Community College Tuesday morning. Shortly after the attacks, students contained him outside the health science building by tackling him until the police arrived.

Quick told investigators he had been fantasizing about an attack of this caliber since he was 8 years old.

Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia said authorities continue to look for a motive, but that he attacks appeared to be random.

A handful of the stabbing victims were hospitalized, but all are expected to survive.
