Stars Come Out For GLAAD's Annual Media Awards

Celebrities, young adults, and corporate partners gathered at the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles Saturday for the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The event, hosted by actress Drew Barrymore, celebrates the fair and inclusive portrayal of the LGBT community in media.

Many were recognized for their work toward equal rights including former president Bill Clinton. Jennifer Lawrence and Harvey Weinstein presented Clinton with the Advocate for Change Award, while Leonardo DiCaprio and Charlize Theron introduced entertainment attorney Steve Warren as he accepted the Stephen F. Kolzak Award.

Other notable honorees included University of Southern California alumnus Stephen Chbosky for "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," which won Outstanding Film - Wide Release, while NBC's "The New Normal" and "Smash" took home the prize for Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series.

Special guests included Tobey McGuire, Betty White, Ted Danson, Cloris Leachman, Justin Bartha, Matt Bomer, Elle Fanning, and Ellen Pompeo, among others. Kelly Rowland and Darren Criss performed.
