Report: Boston Bombing Suspect Unarmed During Police Standoff
The news outlet reported that several investigators from different agencies say no gun was found in the boat where Dzhokar Tsarnaev was hiding in Watertown, Massachusetts.
The town's police chief, Edward Deveau, told Wolf Blitzer that it was his understanding that the suspect fired from the boat. Boston's Police Commissioner Ed Davis had also said earlier that shots were fired from inside the boat, according to the Huffington Post.
Tsarnaev was wounded in the shootout, but remains in fair condition at a Boston hospital.
