Garcetti and Greuel Continue Showdown At Debate As Run Off Nears

The key controversial topic of the evening was whether or not Greuel lacked a more stern and watchdog demeanor in her audits of the Department of Water and Power.
Garcetti drew attention to the fact that a union closely tied to the Department of Water and Power has contributed nearly 4 million dollars to Greuel's campaign.
“This election is not up for sale,” quipped Garcetti while explaining the significance in his initial refusal of funds from super PACs.
Greuel however, felt that Garcetti “chose to demonize them after asking for their support but was refused.”
Doubts of leadership ability were not exclusive to Greuel. Garcetti was also questioned in his perceived restrictions of public discussions regarding city council, seeing as he is council president.
Although both candidates feel they are the best suited for the job, voters will ultimately be the ones to make that judgement call on May 21.
