If Lindsay Lohan was expecting easy questions from David Letterman, she talked to the wrong guy.

In a rare television interview, the troubled actress appeared on CBS’ “Late Show” Tuesday to discuss her health and even a possible comeback.

Letterman began the interview with a playful but serious question when he asked, “Shouldn’t you be in rehab?” Lohan sarcastically replied, “Do you not watch anything that goes on in the tabloids?” She would confess her three-month stay begins May 2.

The late-night host continued firing off serious questions including her financial status, whether or not her “Scary Movie 5” costar Charlie Sheen loaned her money and why she always finds herself in so much trouble.

“I thought you were going to be nice!” the 26-year-old said. “I don't know, I couldn't answer that. I'm a target, I've always been…”

Will this trip to rehab finally prove to be a success for Lohan? “I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life,” the “Liz & Dick” star said. “I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's a blessing, not a curse.”

Letterman himself better watch his back. Lohan has big hopes for her future. As the interview concluded, she told the late-night host, “I’m going to come back from rehab and take over your spot.” We'll see about that!
