It's that time of year again-- the time when Los Angeles celebrity royalty and fashionistas alike migrate to Indio in order to hear good tunes, but more importantly, to flaunt the latest spring festival fashion on the desert runway. Last year, leather and high-low skirts took the crown, but this year's Coachella fashion scene is looking to take a different route. Here's a list of four big fashion forecast predictions for everyone's favorite festival.

Aztec Prints

A picture is worth a thousand words, and Nasty Gal's Coachella Lookbook said it best: this year's Coachella fashion will take inspiration from its desert surroundings, featuring Aztec geometric prints.

From manicures to mini-skirts, those in the fashion know will be weaving the pattern on just about everything.

Printed Denim

It's Spring 2013's latest trend, and no one does it better than the Denim God, Free People.

Whether it's featured in floral printed cutoffs or patterned jackets, you'll be sure to see your favorite fashion icons rocking this new twist to the classic denim look in the Mojave.

Tie Dye

Not only are the burst of tie dye cotton crop-tops popping up in boutiques such as Madison LA super comfortable, but also an easy way to immediately stand out in the crowd.

Make sure to make this colorful staple an addition to your festival fashion this spring.

Fringe

Coachella fashion wouldn't be the same without the classic bandeau-and-cutoff combination. This year, however, the look will be revamped with the fringe effect we've been seeing all spring. The look is easy, fun, trendy, and, most importantly, won't get in the way when you're rocking out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
