In a recent contest from Snapcious, a world wide photo game for iOS devices, Sigma Delta Tau of the USC Greek family won $1,000 that will be donated to Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA).

The game was released through a group called F.8 Interactive and gave their official press release as follows:

USC SORORITY WINS $1,000 IN SNAPCIOUS PHOTO CONTEST

Donates money to Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA)

USC sorority Sigma Delta Tau will donate $1,000 won from Snapcious’ February USC Greek Photo Contest to PCAA.

Snapcious, a new worldwide photo game for iOS, released January 17 by F.8 Interactive, opened a USC Greek photo contest with $1,000 prize in February to celebrate its launch. The money would be donated to the winning organization’s charity.

Sigma Delta Tau, a Panhellenic sorority chapter at USC, showed its devotion to PCAA by becoming the unquestionable victors in the photo contest.

PCAA’s vision is to raise awareness in order to help prevent the abuse and negligence of many children in the U.S.

“It was a cool way to do something fun and support a great cause at the same time,” said Sigma Delta Tau Vice President of Communication Sara Lynn Hua. “When I pitched the idea to the sorority everybody was really on board.”

F.8 Interactive CEO Yael Swerdlow will present the winning check to Sigma Delta Tau on Monday, March 4.

As stated above, the winning prize will be awarded on Monday, March 4th.
