On Saturday, mayoral contender Wendy Greuel led a group of supporters, conservationists and community leaders on a hike in Sunland to an area that she said she helped preserve in the Verdugo Mountains.

Photographer Bill Ehart was there to shoot the hike on Hostetter Fire Road, located off Tuna Canyon Road and the 210 Freeway.

These photos were taken in collaboration with "Views From A Windowless Room," a photojournalism project run by undergraduates at USC Annenberg.
