This latest episode of "Revenge" begins with Emily in her beach house after violent encounters out at sea. Though Emily tried her best to save her, Amanda's blood is on her and she is devastated by her death.

Jack remains in a coma in the hospital, though his condition seems to be improving. Nolan and Aiden are firmly on "team Emily", which is a God-send given how awry her revenge plans seem to be going. She asks Nolan to accompany her to the hospital to see Jack and Aiden to work to get on the board of Grayson Global.

In Helen's absence, the Initiative has appointed a new individual to keep taps on the Graysons and to get to the bottom of Helen's disappearance. The new liaison is a black-haired, beady-eyed man named Mr. Transk and he's extremely creepy! In fact he makes Helen look like a kitten.

The Graysons meet with Mr. Transk to inform him about Nate Ryan and the blackmail Amanda was attempting on the Graysons regarding a laptop with damning video evidence about flight 97. Transk heads over to Jack and Amanda's apartment to snoop around for the laptop. There he runs into Emily, who is also looking for the computer. He flashes a fake FBI badge and asks her some questions. It's unclear whether she believed him.

Emily figures out that the Graysons were framing Amanda so the Initiative would go after her. This is an infuriating realization because it means The Graysons were essentially plotting to kill her - and since Amanda is really Emily, that plot is personal. Emily heads to the medical examiner's office just as Charlotte is identifying Amanda's body. She rushes out in tears into Victoria's waiting arms. In true Victoria fashion, she is using this tragic moment to get closer to Charlotte.

Charlotte begins making plans for Amanda's funeral service, and is saddened that so few people will be in attendance. She does research online and determines that Amanda had a foster brother. She makes attempts to contact him and finds him! This discovery will prove to be very interesting going forward!

Aiden is working to secure a seat on the board of Grayson Global. He makes an appeal to Daniel telling him that he helped make the Stonehaven deal go through and pledges his loyalty to Grayson Global. Daniel is intrigued and asks Aiden to make international trades on the behalf of the Initiative, at the encouragement of Victoria. Aiden obliges and Daniel is pleased. What is unclear was whether Aiden knew he was making deals for the Initiative - was he ok with that?

Jack awakens in the hospital to learn that Amanda is dead. He cries heavily and is extremely upset. As Emily tries to comfort him, Conrad Grayson appears in the hospital like a snake in the grass. He offers to pay Jack's medical bills and fishes for the laptop. Jack plays dumb and says that Nate Ryan was on the boat purely as a vendetta against Jack's father.

Back at The Stowaway, Jack is recovering from his injuries and struggling to come to terms with Amanda's death and the story she told him about wanting to avenge her father's death. He feels that he never knew her, and though Emily tries to assure him he knew her very well, he asks to be alone. While he is crying and feeling angry, he picks up a jar of sea glass Amanda had given him and smashes it on the floor. In the shards of blue glass, he spots a key to a locker and realizes this must be where she's hidden the laptop!

With Aiden and Nolan's detective work, it has been confirmed that the finger or hand or whatever gruesome artifact was mailed to Padma in episode 14 matches the fingerprint of her father. Nolan meets up with Padma looking harried and disheveled. He explains that he has been up all night coding to finish his program Carrion. He hands her a zip drive containing the potentially lethal computer program. He hands it to her saying he cannot tell her what to do, but trusts that she will be thoughtful and careful before handing over to the eternally evil Initiative.

Jack finds the locker which contains the laptop, handwritten papers and other items. Though he cannot log into the laptop, he reads the papers and learns about the close friendship that existed between Emily and Amanda. They were always secretive to him about their connection and true pasts, so Jack is livid. There is a fire in Jack's eyes in this episode that has never been seen before - and it seems that he may now be developing his own desire for revenge. He joins Conrad Grayson before a crowd of TV cameras on the dock in a press conference regarding Amanda's death. It seems he has something up his sleeve, and knowing that he has the laptop Nolan and Emily are nervous.

Emily delivers the eulogy at Amanda's funeral, at the request of Jack. She is heartfelt and emotional as she speaks to a small crowd including the Graysons, Jack, Declan, baby Carl and Nolan. Each attendee places a beautiful white flower on Amanda's grave.

Aiden is not present at the funeral, and we learn later that he was ransacking The Stowaway to get the laptop back for Emily. Wow, what a guy! But when he gives it back to her, she looks at the computer and throws it passionately into the ocean - a complete shock. She explains that the laptop had gotten her distracted from her initial goals. It seems crazy that she has just dumped this priceless archive into the ocean. Hopefully she has a plan and is not acting purely out of devastation.

Later, we see Emily standing alone in the graveyard next to her father's grave and Amanda's. She is holding an umbrella in the dark, when a person approaches her identifying himself as Amanda's foster brother!! The camera shifts and we see a handsome African American man, who says he lived with Amanda when she was little and burned his house down. From the previews, this new character is clearly going to spice things up for Emily! Check it out in the preview below!

In this episode, we see Emily's world come apart. Despite her whole plan to get the Grayson's thus far, others have gotten in the way of her revenge. Amanda is dead, Jack is devastated, as is her half-sister Charlotte. Emily is clearly very emotional about the events that have transpired. And on top of it all, Victoria is using the occasion of Amanda's death to try to needle her way back to Charlotte.

But for two leading male characters (Jack and Nolan), their universes have been turned upside down too. Nolan is a wreck in the end as he handed over Carrion to Padma. He referred to himself in this episode as "life's pawn". For Jack, he now has every reason to completely hate the Graysons. There was a hardness in him that has not been seen before this episode.

Next week's episode promises the introduction of this fascinating new brother character, Eli James. For the preview it looks clear he is going to bring in a lot of excitement!
