The L.A. mayoral race remains very close approaching Tuesday's vote, according to an L.A. Times poll. Eric Garcetti and Wendy Greuel are basically tied, but many of those polled said they could possibly change their minds by the time they actually cast their votes.

The top top candidates spent the weekend trading barbs and trying to scrounge for minority votes that will probably prove to decide the election.

The poll is admittedly a bit outdated, taken from Feb. 24 to 27, with 500 people responding.

It does seem clear that this election will be have a low voter turnout.
