Dennis Rodman’s sat down with George Stephanopoulos, Sunday to tell the world about his recent visit to North Korea and the days he spent with communist leader Kim Jong-un.

On ABC’s “This Week” Rodman speaks of Jong-Un as a humble and strong leader who does not want war but instead wants a call from President Obama to straighten out their countries’ issues.

Rodman says,” "He want Obama to do one thing: Call him. He said, 'If you can Dennis, I don't want to do war.' He said that to me.”

According to the Associated Press, the former NBA star is the first American to meet the North Korean leader.

Rodman said the two bonded on basketball and became good friends during the visit despite the relations the North Korea has with the US.

“He’s a good guy to me. He’s my friend,” Rodman said. “I don’t condone what he does, but as a person to person, he’s my friend.”
