Camping Trip

Whether you're playing a guitar or an iPod, no camping trip is complete without a good old-fashioned campfire singalong, so consider adding these songs to your camping playlist.

• "I Will Follow You Into the Dark," Death Cab for Cutie: Simple, catchy, and relaxing… What more could you want in a campfire song?
• "Hey Ya," Obadiah Parker: This acoustic cover of the 2003 hit by OutKast should be familiar to most campers due to its fairly recent release. 
•  "Simple Man (Acoustic)," Shinedown: Another acoustic cover (this time of Lynyrd Skynyrd), this track is just begging to be played around the campfire. 
• "Come Back Home," The Icarus Account: This sibling duo might be unknown to most mainstream music listeners, but they've got a great catalog of fun acoustic tracks that are easy enough to learn and sing along to.
• "Landslide," Fleetwood Mac: "Landslide" is a definite classic and should be easily recognized by campers as it has been covered time and time again by The Dixie Chicks, The Smashing Pumpkins, and—most recently—the hit TV show "Glee."
