The USC Trojans added Quinton Powell to their Class of 2013 on Wednesday, as the Florida linebacker signed his letter of intent.

The Daytona Beach native had previously committed and de-committed from the University of Florida, ending with the Gators revoking his scholarship offer entirely. Powell chose USC out of other finalists Miami, Oregon and South Carolina.

Ranked as highly as the No. 99 overall prospect (and No. 6 outside linebacker) by ESPN, Powell will join Mainland High School teammate Leonard Williams at USC. Rivals.com rated Powell as the 15th-best outside linebacker in this year's class. Scout.com ranked him a bit lower, No. 22 at the position, but praised his athleticism and aggressiveness.

Powell, listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, also played in this year's Under Armour All-America Game.
