San Diego native Rebecca Minkoff presented her Fall 2013 collection today at 3:00 EST. Pre-show, her backdrop featured tweets and instagram photographs, which featured the hashtag "#RMFall," allowing those watching to add their own personal commentary, involving them in the show.

The show began with the live band Wild Cub performing their song "Thunder Clatter" as the lights turned up and models began strutting down the runway. Starting with a clean and polished white jacket, the clothing appeared to be inspired by menswear and school uniforms with a neutral palette of grey, white, black, navy, and olive green. The collection's use of color seemingly increased throughout the show. Neutrals gained color with geometric color blocking amongst the knitwear.

There were also chiffon blouses and dresses with a navy and peach floral-like pattern. The little bit of color grew into abundance as vibrant reds and purples walked in glorified plaid fabrics and neon turquoise handbags, with the color dialing down towards the end of the show. These pieces were reminiscent of the 1980's shoulder pads and solid colors of teal, yellow, and red. Rebecca herself finished off the show and turned it to its audience as the backdrop returned to its social media theme.

TRESemme took care of hair. Keeping it simple, they used a pin straight and sleek look with a center part and polished ends. Some of the models also wore slouchy neutral-colored beanies.

Models' nails were designed by Essie. Painted in a variety of ocean blues accented with a bit of gold and copper, the nails were inspired by her handbags' oil-slick appearance.

'Stila' was in charge of makeup. Inspired by the clothes, models wore a thick cobalt blue eyeliner paired with a sheer lip gloss.
