Looks like Justin Bieber now has another Guinness World Records title under his belt. On top of being the first solo artist to have three No. 1 albums all before the age of 18, Bieber has officially taken his reign as king of the Twitter world. On February 1, 2013 it was announced that the young star had finally surpassed Lady Gaga as the most-followed Twitter user, a title that Gaga had held for over 2 years.

The world record was updated when Lady Gaga's Twitter follower count of 33,581,095 was topped by Bieber's follower count of 33,682,239. Along with the release of his latest album "Believe Acoustic" earlier this week, the pop star doesn't seem to show any signs of slowing down. Even after the world record was set and officially released by the Guinness World Records official site, Justin Bieber's Twitter has raked in yet another 300,000+ followers.

Bieber fans can give themselves a pat on the back - it may be a while until Lady Gaga catches up with the world's most-followed Twitter user.
