Law enforcement officers are in an ongoing standoff with Christopher Dorner, who has barricaded himself in a cabin at Angelus Oaks near Big Bear Lake.

CBS 2 reports that that two sheriff's deputies have been wounded. Four schools in the area have been placed on lockdown.

According to the L.A. Times, Dorner had allegedly broken into a house and tied up a couple days ago when one of them escaped and managed to call the authorities. Dorner then escaped with a stolen white pickup truck before law enforcement tracked him down and engaged him in a shootout.

Previously, authorities had speculated that the 33-year-old ex-cop wanted for the murders of a police captain's daughter, her fiance and a Riverside police officer, had escaped from Big Bear Lake to Mexico.
