Peter Sarsgaard (“An Education”) is joining AMC’s once dead, now alive again show “The Killing.” (Deadline)

“Liz & Dick” seems like it just premiered a night ago, but another Elizabeth Taylor TV movie is on the way to being made. However, this one, titled “Burton and Taylor,” will be for the BBC, and star Helena Bonham Carter as Taylor and Dominic West (“The Wire”) as Richard Burton. (EW)

Matthew Goode is headed to a new Showtime series called “The Vatican.” Ohhhh man. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Local favorite Local Natives dropped the music video for “Heavy Feet” yesterday. Ain’t no party like a blind pilot party. (Stereogum)

James Franco’s latest art project has him residing as mayor over an area in Germany that he’s since dubbed Gay Town. Yeah… nothing he does seems surprising anymore. (The A.V. Club)
