Hacker group Anonymous claims they have taken down the LAPD's website after five days of criticizing the police department's handling of the Christopher Dorner manhunt, especially the shootings of innocent people mistaken to be Dorner, according to the LA Weekly.

Anonymous also declared they will publish any leaked documents Dorner wishes to publish. They said Dorner should be arrested without being killed.

In his manifesto, Dorner heralded the hackers for what they do, which is usually online intimidation of institutions and powerful people.
